Vision & Mission Statement
Beyond Salvation
OUR VISION
To see the captives set free- physically, spiritually, and eternally through the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for despair.” Isaiah 61:3
We envision a world where enslaved and trafficked people experience complete liberation: rescue from bondage, restoration of dignity, healing of trauma, and encounter with the saving grace of Jesus. We believe freedom is not merely the absence of chains, but the presence of Christ’s redemptive love working restoration into every broken place.
OUR MISSION
To bring freedom to the captives by proclaiming the Gospel, advancing Christ’s kingdom, and partnering in the rescue, restoration, and spiritual transformation of those trapped in human trafficking and persecution.
Our Four Core Commitments:
1. PROCLAIM FREEDOM We declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ—the Good News that captives can be set free. Like Isaiah 61:1, we believe we are called to “proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”
2. RESCUE & RESTORE We work alongside organizations like A21 to physically rescue trafficking victims and provide comprehensive restoration services—safe housing, trauma-informed care, education, job training, and spiritual discipleship—recognizing that true freedom requires holistic healing.
3. SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS We use our voice, platform, and resources to raise awareness about human trafficking and persecution of Christians globally, particularly in regions like Nigeria. We awaken the Church to its prophetic responsibility to speak for the voiceless and act on behalf of the vulnerable.
4. STAND WITH THE PERSECUTED We stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians worldwide—especially those suffering for their faith in places like Nigeria—because freedom of conscience and freedom to worship are inseparable from our mission. Persecution and trafficking are often intertwined; both demand our response.
CORE BELIEFS
- Jesus is Lord and Liberator.
His death and resurrection conquered sin, death, and every form of bondage. Freedom comes through Him alone. - All people are made in the image of God.
Trafficking, persecution, and exploitation are assaults on the image-bearers of Christ. Every rescued person has inherent worth and dignity. - The Church is called to justice.
Christians are mandated by Scripture to speak for the voiceless, defend the vulnerable, and pursue justice. This is not optional, it is discipleship. - Holistic freedom is our goal.
We pursue physical rescue, emotional healing, social restoration, and spiritual transformation. We refuse the false dichotomy between evangelism and compassion; both are essential. - Hope is real and contagious.
Survivors can experience complete restoration. The Gospel transforms captives into advocates, victims into victors, and suffering into purpose.
WHO WE SERVE
Learning, Living, Loving: Here at Beyond Salvation, we are all about learning, living, and loving. We strive to uncover more about our inner selves, our fellow humans, and our Creator. Our goal is to fill our days with practical knowledge and genuine connections, fostering growth in faith and community.
Community: You can meet the rest of our family here and become a part of our tightly-knit community of God seekers. We value each person who joins us on this journey and love you already.
Committed to Service, Dedicated to Christ: Our commitment to service stems from our dedication to Christ. We aim to serve others selflessly, reflecting the love and grace of Jesus in all that we do. Through acts of kindness and compassion, we seek to make a positive impact in our communities and beyond.
WHAT SETS US APART
Beyond Salvation uniquely bridges two urgent crises often treated separately:
- Human trafficking strips people of freedom and dignity
- Christian persecution attacks people’s freedom to worship and believe
We recognize that these crises are often interconnected: persecution creates vulnerable populations exploited by traffickers; trafficking disproportionately affects persecuted Christian communities. By addressing both through a Gospel-centered, holistic approach, we offer survivors complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit.
We are not just another nonprofit. We are a prophetic voice calling the Church to radical obedience, combining compassion with conviction, advocacy with evangelism, rescue with spiritual transformation.
